The Safetech Intermediate Anchor (Model: SF005 / SF006 / SF007 / SF008) is a precision-engineered component used within horizontal and vertical lifeline systems to support and guide lifeline cables while ensuring user mobility and safety. Made from high-grade SS304 or SS316 stainless steel, these anchors are exceptionally resistant to corrosion and environmental wear, making them suitable for harsh industrial, marine, or outdoor conditions.
Compliant with EN 795:2012 CLASS C and CEN/TS 16415:2013, each anchor is designed to handle a maximum breaking strength of 15 kN and is optimized for 8mm stainless steel wire rope. The primary function of these intermediate anchors is to allow the smooth passage of the glider or traveler unit along the cable without interruption, ensuring continuous fall protection for workers at height.
In a typical lifeline system, one intermediate anchor is installed every 12 meters, maintaining cable alignment and minimizing deflection under load. The unit is affixed securely using M12 bolts and integrates seamlessly with other Safetech components for a robust and certified fall arrest setup.
