The SAFE-T-L-158 is a 6 ft dual-leg lanyard specifically designed to offer maximum mobility and consistent fall protection through 100% tie-off capability. Outfitted with an external shock absorber, this lanyard ensures controlled deceleration during a fall, minimizing impact forces on the body in line with ANSI Z359.13- 2013Â standards.
Engineered with a Y-style configuration, this lanyard features one alloy steel snap hook for attachment to the harness and two alloy steel rebar hooks at the legs for anchorage, allowing secure transitions between multiple anchor points. All metal components are rated with a Minimum Breaking Strength (MBS) of 5,000 lbs or 22 kN, ensuring maximum safety under extreme conditions.
The lanyard is constructed from 30 mm wide high-tenacity polyester webbing, chosen for its excellent strength, flexibility, and resistance to abrasion, UV exposure, and weather. Reinforced with high-quality polyester stitching, it maintains its integrity through rigorous daily use in industrial environments.
